Hi all

Considering this hotel for summer 2009 and have read the one lonely 2008 review that we have posted on Holiday Truths and was wondering if anyone else had been there this summer ?

I have seen this hotel and it looks absolutely beautiful set in all the trees. What I really want to know is would it be suitable for someone with two teens, one 16 one 14 ? They aren't very demanding (neither are we lol), a nice pool, decent food and possibly a computer room or somewher to plug in a laptop if the worst comes to the worst and they need to contact their friends on Face Pack or whatever its called. lol. I know it is half board, are the drinks with meals mega expensive or OK ?

Also would I need two rooms, assume so, or are there family rooms ? We will be charged for 4 adults anyway so no probs with two rooms, as we would get two bathrooms and two balconys. Are some rooms better than others etc ?

Plenty of reviews on TA, mostly very good indeed.

Dropped some people off there on the way to Olu in July (and on way back). It's positioned closer to Ovacik than Olu but my thoughts of it being a bit 'out of the way' were dispelled by the fact that there appear to be taxis on site all the time.

I though everyone was ignoring me. lol. I have also seen it and was a bit worried about the location.
Not so much for during the day, as I guess we could go on a few organised trips where we would be collected by coach, but perhaps of an evening when we would like a to mooch, shop a little and stop off for a drink.

The other thing I was wondering is does the Sugar beach minbus come and collect from there ?

Was hoping the OP would post. Perhaps they are there at the moment.

Might price up the Olu Deniz Resort Hotel as well as it's a good location for my family, but liked the look of this one.

Its a fabulous place and very near to Hisaronu ...good for night life, shopping and restaurants and very near Olu Deniz ... we loved it..its in the Pine Forest and always has a good breeze....you will love it there..they also have a bus shuttle service to Olu Deniz and there's always a taxis to take you into HIsaronu ..

I'm sure that Sugar Beach would give lifts from there, I know for a fact that they would do so for free from the villa some friends were in at Ovacik.

Belcekiz Beach Hotel gets fab reviews in Olu and is smack bang in town. In fact they open up their AI restaurant to 'outsiders' for 20 lira per head and I heard it was really good. Not too big a resort but that made it friendly apparently (though some sunbed issues I hear, although there is also and adult pool). Again reviews and forums on TA more info on that one.

I think Montana Pine would suit anyway it would be no more hassle to get into Olu than Lykia World and you are also close to Hisaronu too.

Thanks to both of you. Very helpful. I have stayed at the Belcekic Beach and it is indeed a brilliant hotel. Just fancied a change really as it's nice to look forward to staying in a different accommodation in a slightly different location. I would have no problem staying at the BB again if it came up at the right price as it's a little bit special. Mainly to do with the excellent staff, views and great food. Might already be fully booked for my weeks next year as it fills up quickly with lots of reapeaters.
