Hi all
I am planning to go to Albufeira in October and wondering if anyone could give me suggestions of good hotels.
I have travelled by myself a few times icluding Spain and Cyprus. My husband is staying at home to look after the family whilst I have a stress break.
I am in my late forties and young at heart!! I would like a hotel not too far out, not afraid of a 10-15 minute walk. Would like an adult hotel, not 18-30 or a family hotel, have done that with my own children. Somewhere that it not too far out but not in the noise, if you know what I mean. So if I venture out at night not far to walk back.
Preferably up to 3-4 star not higher, my budget won't stretch to that. Not far from the beach
Any suggestions would be great. I am planning to diy as it is rather expensive for people travelling on their own on a package holiday.
Thanks in advance

The Rocomar or the Sol-e-Mar spring to mind
I can second that plus the Boavista Belver and Estalagem do Cerro, which are 10 minutes walk from the town and beaches. The Rocamar and Sol e Mar are next to the beach and the only two hotels in the old town area that actually are.
Try the Brisa Sol or the Cerro Allogoa
Try the Hotel Baltum in the old town, its so central you could stroll home anytime and not feel unsafe. It has not got a pool but is a 2 minute walk to the beach.
Baltum might be a bit noisy Mandii, and D-R did specify out of the noise...
