It's cloudy how rude so I thought I would pop on here and say hello. Can't believe it's not sunny!
The forecast is a bit ropey for the next few days which is a shame. When the sun comes out it's lush, red hot (well about 40 which is hot enough for us blondies). I am still sitting here in my bikini but all the waiters have their jackets on lol.The evening is still lovely and warm though, 23 on the temp thingie near point centre no need for a cardi, even for me who is a cold ass (arcording to my hubby!).
We have found the prices have gone up quite a bit but a lot of that is to do with the exchange rate.... it is 2.2 here so better than the 2.08 that we got at home (glad I only brought 100 lira). An evening meal for 2 adults and one child with a couple of drinks is usually 100 lira... well in the garden anyway, but you definately get your moneys worth there, you know it's going to be gorgeous. Large efes are 4 lira in most places and cocktails 9 lira. soft drinks 3.5-4 lira so they add up.
We have been eating in the Garden most nights, it's still as gorgeous as ever and worth every penny.
I will give a proper report when I get home, I just thought I would say hello to those counting down.
Mega diana boat trip was a blast and we will be going again this week
