Glad you enjoyed Es Cana,having been for the last 4 years we will now give it a miss for a few years but I think it has something for everyone.

Did you find the walks you asked about before you went?

Wayne yes we did, enjoyed our strolls, went to the beach past the hippy market, and cala nova a couple ot times

So pleased to read this as we are going to Es Cana in Aug 2009. We have booked the Ereso Hotel and are looking forward to it.

Can you recommend any bars for the evenings? We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 & 10.

There are quite a few good bars depending on what you want, 2 mins to the left of your hotel is the Rio bar that is nice, suited us with two little ones as it was roomy lots of tables outside and sky on, two pool tables outside as well and one and inside, nice and cool with aircon as it was hot, at 10pm they have one game of bingo, then a quiz, and then karioke it's quite good fun and a nice bar, to the right of you lots of bars with music and sport on, on the front is Charlies bar which gets busy with acts on each night, again you can sit outside or inside, up the other main street is the red lion bar which is supposed to be a really good night but it was just two hot with two little ones so we did not try it, also fat moes that is on the same road, based on the simpsons, only two main streets and the sea front, one where your based and the other, just a few mins walk away wherever you go it's not far, you will find plenty to suit you , also the hotel had some good entertainment at night and they have learnt to charge the same price for drinks as the bars, which was good, facing you is a road that has shops and a bar called popeyes thats good for a cold beer or snack in the afternoon on the way back from cala nova beach which is only 10 mins away

I stayed at the Hotel Caribe in Es cana, on our second visit and I must say it was probley the best holiday Ive had with my family there. Couldnt fault anything about the resort or hotel. the First time we went we was at the Hotel Miami but much prefered the Caribe.

Oh I do miss it.
