Thanks gooner fan.
The food was buffet style and not too bad at all.
The entertainment was dire - like "Goa's got Talent" on a bad night.
The gaming room was full of smokers and visibility was down to 5 yards.
Despite being told when booking, that a strict dress code was enforced - we couldn't beleive how many Indians trooped on wearing jeans and (scruffy) trainers. We of course were wearing our best frocks etc.
We left after an hour.
5 of us went March 07 and had a great time, no complaints, it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had!
Came away with tail between my legs in Nov - was down about 10,000 rups but made up for it in Mar
Back again in November with some friends who are going for the first time - me thinks this will be on the itinerary again ! ! ! This time with strict "spending money" allocation
Does anyone know what time the casino boat leaves Panjim?
i didn't see any entertainment but still had a great night and will be going in dec with my mate that's never been to goa before! I cant remember but think there's a website - caravela?

There is another one there now - a Mississippi riverboat. Our taxi driver told us it is the new casino. Four storey jobby and they are painting it at the moment so looking a little jaded but no doubt will be ready soon - plenty of people working on it.
