It docks right by the pit boxes on the F1 track if that helps!

I don't think its that near the city - we went on a tour so I'm not an expert on this port but to get to the main centre of Valencia where the cathedral and big sights are, I would think was about 10-20 mins drive - I'm guestimating because we headed to the museum first and went 'round the houses' a bit but that's roughly how long it took on the way back cutting out the time for stopping at landmarks. I don't remember seeing any tour buses around the dock so I think Valencia would be a taxi or local transport jobby.

Hi- we went to Valencia at Easter, but not with Thomson's, it was Island. They didn't have a shuttle bus to the centre, only to the outskirts, near the beach and the end of the long road that all the big modern buildings are in (including the aquarium). I think I have read that Thomson's have a shuttle service to the centre which would be much better. We had to get a local bus, and it was all a bit confusing! The centre of town is really nice, especially round the cathedral. We went on an open top bus ride that was very good, lots of wonderful architecture- old and new.

Thanks all for your very helpful replies. Will definately get the shuttle bus into the centre and get on a tour bus probably.

~Thats what we did - shuttle bus then the open top bus ride. We loved the city and the bus tour visits the old and modern parts of the city.
