its nice to know how people rates us travel agents, some of you obviously dont get good service from your local agents, i work for one of the large agents and yes we use our own tour ops as a first choice but i personally have targets to achieve and if i cant find the right deal for my customer i will search all other tour ops and diy the holiday
i know its nice to get carried away at home when searching your holiday.but the amount of customers who call into our office after booking on line who just want a bit more advice or help or questions answered (because unlike us the computer cant answer all questions) some times i personally want to say i wasnt good enough to book your holiday so im not going to answer your questions! but being a good person im not like that!!!
i personally would book through an agent for the knowledge, the experience the face to face contact and the help and advice if i did have a problem the resurance that i would get help, so what if its a few more pounds, emagine how much it would cost you in phone calls if you had a problem and then you have to talk downa phone to a complaints dept who dont care your just another complainer.........................
