the hotel is a hotel stack around 7 floors the club is a much lower complex around 3 high.with the main pool area.depends if you like to really enjoy you stay then it has to be the club...if you older you fine the hotel would suit you.not cheap to stay in either one.but the food is unreal.

what age group are you (kids age) really...palm beach may be better for you.its a superfamily hotel.just up the road from don toni.mine you there is the hotel club bahamas (not fiesta but still good).on same road

go on to tui home page and see videos of hotels.

dont forget when pricing up put all group as adults...you do not say the date you wish to go and how long for.that looks like a weeks stay to me

Hi Im booked to go to the Don Toni Hotel next August.

Some friends of mine have just returned from the Club Don Toni and had a fab time, lovely food etc etc.

The difference in the two is that the hotel is more quiet than the club apparently, but the facilities are shared between the two.

don;t forget the massive sports things they do as well around the complex.it huge, around 10.000 plus people can stay in that area alone.

Hi!

We Have booked the don toni hotel for next year (July). For some reason the hotel had reviews of 10/10, and the club 9/10 (?). Also the hotel worked out a couple of hundred cheaper!

What amazed me about this hotel, is that they offer free child places (Half board!!!), up to the age of 15, as our lad will be 15 when we go, - we were really chuffed- and the price was good too.

Really looking forward to going here, as the reviews for this hotel are fab!

Hi ,we booked to go to Fiesta Bahamas for this year but got a letter from Thomsons in Feb saying it was no longer Fiesta. We asked about changing hotels and were told that there is no guarantee that any of Fiesta would remain as they were being sold off without much notice. We decided to keep our original booking and were glad that we did as we still had a very good holiday despite having a lot of rain (23RD May-6th June) If you do decide to book Thomsons will give you the chance to change but there may not be any free child places left because they leave it rather late to notify you.Hope this is some help to you.

Hi,
I have just read on another forum that the Don Toni is going to be sold off to the GPS hotel chain. Can anyone confirm this and if so what will happen if you have booked to go there next year?.Will you be offered alternative accomodation or will you have to go to the hotel.
Thanks

Hi

We were booked for Fiesta Bahamas this year, when it was sold we were offered the chance to change to a different hotel or to go as planned,if you're with Thomsons you will probably be offered the same.Fiesta are selling off their hotels, when we went into Ibiza town we saw two Fiesta hotels in an estate agents window.Hope this helps,T.

Hello Hillbankdee

On 18 August I emailed the Fiesta Group stating that I had heard about Fiesta hotels being sold off. I asked them to confirm the position with Hotel Don Toni since our family are booked to go there in 2009.

This is their reply:

"From Head Office I would like to assure you that for 2009 Fiesta Hotel Don Toni will still remain part of the Fiesta Holiday Chain".

Let's wait and see!!

ok i was told by a few well known people in pdb.that the don toni was going to be sold over winter.like the algarb you could have your original booking or move at a cost of £50.00.but after a few people complianed they did move and did not pay the extra.its just one of those wait and see things.

Bahamas is now going to be the place to stay in 2009.total refit of gardens should be done by 2009.and the room refits look out of this world.had a veiwing in oct of a refitted room.very posh.

me i am moving to another hotel next year.the algarb has had it,too many young ones messing about late at night.anyway it;s gonna be more like a 18.30s place anyway next year.for non uk people.just what gps is looking for.trouble is they don;t spend money in hotel.they don;t care about anyone but themselfs.

anymore new info you need pm me please
