Hi
I am trying to decide whether to book a flight to Cape Town with BA or Virgin. Any thoughts on which has the better planes and service?
Any idea what the legroom and comfort is like in Economy please?
Have a look at the dedicated British Airways and Virgin threads for specific information about the airlines and opinions regarding their service. BA use a Boeing 747-400 and Virgin an Airbus A340-600 from LHR to CPT. Comfort levels and facilities in economy are pretty much on par with each other, I'd look at cost and decide from there. Refer to Seat Guru for seating plans (click on the aircraft types above).
Darren
Thanks Darren! Will have a look.
If you fancy a sleep, the A340 will be quite a bit quieter than the 747 - although if this isn't a problem then go with the cheapest!
Thanks ryansf! I think the quieter plane sounds good!
vs has 32-33" in economy over BA's 31"
Thanks BY-TOM-AMM-FCA.
