Hi, I have been to the Kahramana (twice ) and the Coraya Beach Resort Hotels in Marsa Alam. Marsa Alam is basically a long stretch along which hotels are built - I think it covers about 15 miles. A few hotels are in bays (Coraya (my favourite) / Lamaya/ Brayka Bay) and all hotels (not just those in the bays) have access to Reefs right from the beach. Coral here is virtually pristine compared to Sharm / Hurgahada. Amazing marine life in this area.

Can you tell me which tour operators do the Coraya. Just found it on the Iberotel web site and it looks great. Need to get it booked via tour op. Not keen doing it myself with separate flight & booking hotel direct.

When we went we booked online with Thomsons (INVALID URL Personally I would upgrade to All inclusive at time of booking, its cheaper than upgrading with the hotel as we found to our cost.

If your booking online Portland are normally always cheaper than Thomson and basically the same company. I have stayed at the Calimera Habiba and Brayka Bay, they both had their plus points but the fantastic house reef at Brayka Bay is where we are heading for again this year.
