Mango Bay has great reviews so you may not need much. However, Holetown where it is has some great places to eat and drink so it would be a pity not to try out some. You can use credit cards for most places. Can't remember if there are ATMs in Holetown but I'm assuming there must be. Somebody will be able to say I'm sure.
You would need money for trips of course and I would recommend hiring a car for a day or two as it would be a shame not to visit some of the great beaches. Did you have an amount in mind?

Hi Fiona,
We usually take about £100 in local money and use credit or debit cards for payment or for getting cash from atms.We use Nationwide so no charges.Hoping to hire a car and see more of the island so any advice on what to see?

Oh my goodness- there are so many places to see.
Bridgetown itself is worth a visit. Just out of that is Mount Gay distillery and that is very interesting. Take a car round the island- its easy and you won't get lost, although you might find yourself reversing a few times as they seem to put signposts up after you've had to decide whether to take the left or right fork :D The East coast is spectacular, especially Bathsheba. Have lunch or at least a drink at Edgewater Inn on the edge of a rainforest( as well as the surfers sea). Harrison's caves are good to visit, as is the Wildlife Reserve. ST John Parish Church is on the east coast and a walk through it and its graveyard is a stop in all the tours. We also visited Sunbury plantation but have to say I was underwhelmed by it.
Dover beach, mullins bay, Rockley( our local beach once), and Crane beach( voted one of the best in the world) are just some of the beaches. We also found one that just had locals and was great fun but I can't remember its name. But that is the joy of having a car- you can discover things off the tourist maps. Oistins fish fry on a Sunday night is an absolute must do- brilliant atmosphere!
Cool running Catamaran, although expensive, is well worth it.
Can't answer re ATMs in Holetown but if Blue Heather reads this I'm sure she can help. ( I'd like to know too as I'm off there in the summer :rofl )
Those are only the things I can remember off the top of my head but its a good start :)
