Hi
Does anyone have any information on Shearings river cruises? I'm thinking of booking on the MV Virginia and although every type of cabin seems to carry a range of supplements, there is no information I can find which shows any pictures of the cabins on any of the decks or details of comparisons showing what you get for your extra payments! Apparently it is possible that if I write a letter outlining my queries and email it to someone (can't remember who) they can send it on to someone else (?) and I will probably get a reply in 7 to 10 days! All seems a bit odd. Surely people making bookings would want at least a glimpse of what they are agreeing to.
Any information will be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Jael
Assuming there is only one MV Virginia try this link http://www.transriverline.nl/ships.html for the company, there is another link in the middle of the page to a slightly more detailed brochure about the ship.
Thank you so much for your help. I looked at the site you gave me and I at least have a fair idea of what a twin cabin is like (though this one is probably a 'posh' one!). As you say, they do themselves no favours by being so clueless about their product.
Thank you also to the administrators of this site. It must be one of the best. The members are always so warm, friendly and helpful.
