Spent part of my honeymoon there 1992!

We have had holidays on Skiathos, Skopelos and the Pelion. In Damouchari (Pelion) where some of the scenes were shot, we had lunch in the taverna shown in the film. It overlooks the water and a large derelict property on the waters edge. I was surprised to see this property still standing because it was on its last legs when I looked around it 4 years ago. Surely someone will renovate this before it actually falls down

We stayed on Skopelos in 2001. We only had one week there and always wanted to go back. We have had a couple of holidays in Skiathos and always had a day over on Skopelos.
Last year on our trip over, the "pull" towards the island became so great we booked up in November for 2 weeks in June 2009.
We had a great time in 2001 and i'm sure this next trip will be even better. Skopelos is such a beautiful island!

We're going on a sailing holiday based in Skiathos this July. I'm hoping we'll see some of Skopelos too.
