Well we always take our children to Gumbet and they love it there, they are 4 and 2 and the youngest one was brought up thre until she wa 18 months old. We stayed at Siesta beach hotel lasy year and the girls loved playing on the beach or swimming in the pools. We also take them to eat out at night rather than stay in the hotel as they enjoy that too.

If you dont want to go to Gumbet again, try olu Deniz, nice resort for kids. The Club Belcekic Beach hotel and Lykia World are both great for children. They have high standards and good food for AI's.

i agree with chris, lykia world is absolute paradise for kids, we took kids with us from 4 to 18 and they all loved it, there are about 19 pools and a water park for the kids, its not all inc but full board + so you can pop into a restaurant all day and get a drink its really only after 9.30 pm that you have to pay and for any ice creams, the other place thats great although not quite as nice is letoonia this is 24 hr all inc, olu deniz is gorgeous with a lovely lagoon which is lovely for kids and the scenery is stunning, have a look at the links

Opps ! Sorry Karen. I forgot Lykia was Full Board Plus not AI  For us as a family it didnt really make any difference as we are not big drinkers and you can get free wine and larger style beer and soft drinks (branded not local soft drinks) with all meals. This was enough for us.

We just used to buy large bottles of still water from the main bars to keep us hydrated during the day and only drank other things at meal times.

If you definately need AI as well as Letonnia and Club Belcekic Beach, there is the olu Deniz Resort as well this gets great reviews and is also in an excellent position in the resort. Lykia is a bit isolated.

if you are interested in lykia world, get lots of quotes from different places as most TO do this complex , you can even do it diy with several hotel only sites, someone said tulip holidays were doing this at a good price too, it is expensive both worth every penny, kids entertained all day til late :tup

Last year I went with the now defunct airtours who Thomas Cook took over. http://www.directholidays.co.uk seemed to have some reasonable prices (for Lykia as it can be a bit expensive) but as Karen said someone on the Lykia thread just booked with Tulip and got a great deal.

There is a dedicated Lykia thread, but it's one of the longest on the forum if you fancy a two hour read.
