Hi
I can only give advice on the Royal Beach as that's the only 4* I've stayed in. Its an ok hotel in a nice area of Fenals probably a 10 min walk into lloret and a 2 min walk to the fenals beach. The hotel itself is clean and the food is adequate for a week. I've only ever been here half board so I cant comment on the all inclusive side of it.
As with all A I hotels you get the element that get there moneys worth of the free alcohol and these can be found wandering round the foyer late at night, generally the time I was going out so they didnt bother me as I didnt have to socialise with them and a reason why I avoided the Robin Hood pub as this looked to be where they headed after the bar had closed.
A hotel I did notice that looked very nice was the Alva Park which was just round the corner so if your looking for luxury may be worth enquiring about this one.

i would love to stay in the alva park, but if you google that one you best sit down before you look at the prices.
the royal beach is fine, but i prefer the royal star as i think it is in a better location, being half way between the town and fenals. it is set back a little from the main road, but the road outside is not really suitable for toddlers due to the lack of pavement.
i think the fenals gardens is better than either of these 2 though, probably because it seems more civilised, and would always choose that one ahead of the HTOP ones. i would also suggest you look at the aquarium which is only 3*, but gets good reviews from locals and tourists
