When we went to the Gambia, we took pens, pencils and exercise books which were all received gratefully. Have a lovely time in Kenya!
Thanks, that's what I was thinking, good to know I am on the right track.
Old football shirts always welcome, kids and adults.
Definitely football shirts for friends you make, but your old mobile phone, (sim card out!) will be much treasured. Spend a tenner in Claires(girls hair stuff) will go a long way.
Old clothes, pens, pencils, books, sweets etc for the kids, they really appreciate anything you give.
we are taking blow-up footballs for the kids.
All great ideas thanks
whereas we can get them for 40p each in kenya they cost £3-5 pounds each..
