The Locals fish from the banks of the lagoon,not to sure what they are catching, they seem to use just a line with bread as bait and the fish are around 10cm long.
we saw them on the municiple run side of the lagoon opposite sugar beach.

round the lagoon on genc beach /nicholas beach there is a jetty i fish off with my grandson he loves it we also took a pedlow out and fished off that caught fish on both occasions loved it
