manxcat, in terms of seeing everything, yes and no. You'll get a decent flavour, but there will be more to see, maybe tempt you back for another trip.

But if you want to change your flight ticket, don't not take the flight and turn up later. When you arrive in Bangkok Airport, find a Bangkok Airways ticket desk and they should change it there and then for you, maybe for a small fee, but you will find then exceptionally helpful no doubt!

Give Pattaya a few days and you will never forget it.
