Many sectors of French industry are still disatisfied with the industrial action taken earlier in February and have given advance warning of another day of action, likely to be on THURSDAY 19 MARCH.

This is very likely to affect any air and sea traffic between France and elsewhere, and road congestion may be experienced because of demonstrations or a lack of buses/metro especially in Paris.

Please do try to avoid getting involved in the hassle that this will cause if you have any freedom of movement in your travel plans. This sort of action usually involves the winding-down of public transport on the evening before the strike and can mean lack of services from 20H00.
