sailed on the princess in october just gone, went on our honeymoon to east caribbean had a fabulous time, we were treated like royalty, would def go back on this ship.

thanks for your reply. Our itinery is the Caribbean Escape. It will be our 45th wedding anniversay in Decmeber and we will both be the big 65 in 2009. We will actually be away for my husbands birthday and are thinking of renewing our vows on the ship. Do you know if anyone did this whie you were on board?

There were quite a few weddings and renewal of wedding vows on the ship, but you must book this in advance with the travel agent or who you booked the cruise with, you can choose a "pack", whether it be flowers, champagne etc,

There were 7 weddings/reneal of vows when we were on the Sea Princess, but you will have to book in advance. I don't think you can choose the date of the ceremony, I think it is allocated once you are on the ship.

If your husband's birthday is during the cruise and it is a major one, you may qualify for a celebration package. This is free with Princess whereas other ships charge for it, at least it was when we were onboard. Check the brochure for details.

Hi we are cruising on the 21st march from barbados. I am now so nervous about going because of all the poor reveiws etc about this ship. Having cruised aboard various other ships and all of them being of a very high standard I was expecting this to be the same. Now i am not so sure. Can someone please post who has experienced a recent caribbean cruise aboard sea princess. Also what currency should i purchase as there seem to be many local currencies. Are Us dollars widely accepted?I await your posts with trepidation

Hi there. I have read some of the not so good reports, but I have also read some excellent ones. I have been in touch with someone on another board who knows all there is to know about cruising and he assures me it is going to be fine. He sailed on her last year. As far as currency is concerned U.S.$ will be accepted everywhere. Hope this helps.
