hi i am new to this forum board...id like advise on a couple of quetions if i can firstly we are flying ryanair in april to girona airport but im getting mixed up some articles ive read say gerona some say girona now is this the same airport or are both different?? and secondly we are staying in lloret de mar can anybody tell me how far that is from the airport? we have a shuttle transfer arranged...many thanxs in advance toria

Welcome to HT
It's the same place - Some call it Gerona and some Girona and Ryanair call it Barcelona Girona(GRO)
Edit : Apparently it's Gerona in Spanish but Girona in Catalan(the local dialect)
It's about 30km to Lloret so it should be a pretty quick transfer as long as they don't call at every resort on the coast first.
