Eddie, you can hire them from the beach at Railly or Phra Nagn bay

Cheers Martin, hopefully if they hire at Railey, then Ao Nang should'nt be a problem.
Fingers crossed for good sea conditions, never been in April before.

Eddie, I have stayed at Ao Nang beach 3 times, the most recent last year and have never seen kayaks or sea canoes on Ao Nang - only longtail boats.

POP!!!! What was that???
Oh dear, just the sound of my balloon bursting :think
Yea Cathy, thinking along the same lines myself.
Seen plenty of kayaks on the sea when back and forth to Poda etc. by longtail, but not sure if they outta Krabi or Railey.
Staying in Krabi, but if Martins info pans out, then i guess i will have to set out from Railey.
Still holding out, and fairly confident that someone in Krabi can provide.
Must get it done!!!!
It's another one to cross off the "bucket list" ;)

We have just got back and although we could go on guided trips, we couldn't find anywhere where we could hire one individually other than at our hotel.
