Seen this a little late but you will find lots of local info on Acharavi and excursions on Castaway Travel's Acharavi pages http://www.corfucastaway.com and there is information on local boat trips on Captain Aris pages http://www.corfudaycruises.com.Acharavi is primarily a faily resort, great beach and a good choice of eating places and a few bars. I would say you have made a good choice. The aprtments are near the beach and village centre.Its also a good centre for exploring, lots of excursions and boat trips and local bus service to Corfu town and between Sidari and Kassiopi along the north coast.

i have found a holiday on first choice site to Acharavi in corfu staying at nerieas apartments for 1795.00 is this a good price for 2 adults 3 children and baby going on 14 sept 09,would idealyl like to go july/august but to expensive is it cheap once you get there
