marina apartments in thassos

Hello,me and my family are going to thassos in june :sun2 ,will it be nice and hot?anybody on here stayed at marina apartments??.We are staying in 1 of the 2 apartments(not studio)my in-laws are staying in the other 1,are the apartments in same block has studios?.I cant seem to find any comments on the apartments all seem to talk about the studios!!!!Please tell me they are not on the ground floor,cos if i go by whats on here they are not good.... :( This will be our 1st visit to this island so got alot of mixed emotions at the moment,any tips will be most welcome. :cheers

Cant help with the apartments but Thassos is beautiful. We stayed just outside of Thassos town and as there is no beach in town we got a taxi boat to a different beach every day. Evenings are really chilled, plenty bars and tavernas. We went end of July and it was red hot, hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We stayed in Skala Potamias in 2007. It was great. The ferry crossing is enjoyable, the people are friendly and it is typically Greek. I don't know which resort the Marina apartments are in but I hope you will enjoy.
Try http://www.thassos-forum.com for your questions. The international section is in English and there is bound to be someone on there who can help you. A lot of the posters are repeat visitors or have property there.

Golden Beach is great with one of the most spectacular backdrops that you will see anywhere in Greece, June weather is perfect the sea is starting to warm up and the beaches are not crowded you will love Thassos.
