We're going in jan 10. we are staying at the mobor beach hotel forv three weeks. they have suites there that have a couple of rooms and cooking facilities ( if you want them). aircon, tv, double balcony, all sorts of other stuff e mail them on paradiseingoa@yahoo.co.uk or punch in mobor beach hotel cavalossim on your home page and have a look at their facilities.
can't tell you about flights cos' we always book a package. this year we booked a package withTC, then contacted Linda and Danny at the Mobor to get an upgrade to a suite.
hope this is of use. BOB.

If you want to fly scheduled you would be better off with Jet or Kingfisher where you can stay with the same airline right to Goa with only one stop over in Mumbai or Bangalore the cost at the moment is £425/£525 for Januarary

Emirates you will have two stop overs eating up time and a different airline to Goa which if you are delayed can cause major problems

Don't know about accommodation down that way but Cavalossim should meet your requirements

However if you stay in the North, or Scotland, you can use Emirates from Glasgow, Newcastle or Manchester, and avoid the hassle of flying or driving down to London, and the hassle of H/row

Hi Alan

That is good news so either way you have three stop over, just need to check the time on the ground each way and who offer the best deal

Some times it is cheaper to arrange your own flight from Mumbai to Goa and some times cheaper to book right through to Goa but watch luggage allowance if you book separate

Booking a return from Goa to Heathrow at Christmas time, Kingfisher are offering some stonking deals today 2500 rps cheaper than I have just booked with Virgin on a Jet flight

Just seems a load of hassle to me!!! think i'd much rather book a package holiday, get a direct flight. on the whole, not much in it pricewise. in fact, i'd say, it can be cheaper!!! (this is a pesonal opinion).

I tend to agree with you Bob, I just want to get there!!!!. However OH has flown once by Emirates to China and according to him they are the bees knees.
Anyway best price I have found, which actually is not too bad at all is around £450 to Bombay and then onward by Kingfisher for another £90 ish, the timings work, the plus is we fly from our local airport Birmingham so don't have horrendous car park charges for 4 weeks. There are two changes Dubai and Mumbai but quite reasonable, around 3 hours wait at both airports.
Have e mailed a few places in the south re private accommodation, nothing back as yet but the seson just finishing imagine it will take a few weeks to get a response.
