Hi alexfan, my mate does most of his holidays alone and has been to Turkey many times at lots of resorts and says he always has a great time. We were in Marmaris a couple of years ago while he was in Ichmeler and we met up for a couple of nights in each resort. When we went to Ichmeler we had a fantastic time meeting the Turkish friends he had made. Two days later we were all taken out for the day by the manager of the restaurant he had chosen as his local and had a fantastic day. It does'nt matter whether you are alone or in company as the Turkish people are so friendly that you will never be really alone lol. As long as you are not standoffish in anyway you will have a great time wherever you go. I hope you have a great time.
