I can't comment on the Lourentzo apartments but have walked past the Carina Apartments many times (and had the odd drink in the Carina Bar too). To be honest they look pretty basic but are ideally situated on Nissi Avenue right behind Sandy Bay beach. I reckon they're within a 10 minute walk of Nissi Beach - either straight along Nissi Avenue or along the coastal path (much the better option as the first view of Nissi beach when you walk round the headland is breathtaking!). Slightly further away from Ayia Napa itself in the opposite direction - possibly a 20 minute stroll. There are plenty of Bars and Restaurants along Nissi Avenue between the two apartments which other people will have more experience of than I do but would recommend Flames which is quite near to the Carina Apartments heading towards Napa.

Watch out for the sun !

Time share touts? What's a time share tout? Never seen 1 in 10 years in Napa. The worst you'll have to put up with are the good natured 'PR' folk and they'e basically limited to 'Night Life Street' and the Square.

TS touts seem to swarm around the harbour and Tombs Of The Kings Road in Paphos. You're safe from them 'up east'!

hi all, arrived back on sunday after a week at lourentzos,and what a great time we had,these apartments are only 2 * but are clean and quiet and have all you need for a selfcatering holiday.
andy & his wife who run the apartments work all the hours under the sun,andy never seems to sleep very much but is always friendly and will make you feel welcome,it has a bar which is open all day and night to the early hours,also a snack bar which caters for all you english who cant go without a breakfast & chips lol, and a small pool,the location is spot on for the nissi beach which is just across the road,but if you want the main pubs and clubs its 3 1/4 hr walk, but there are plenty of places inbetween if you dont want to go to the main square, we will be going back again thats for sure and staying here.

as for the carina apartments there were no complaints there either,basic but clean large pool 24hr bar + snacks and alot nearer to the main square 20 mins walk,and 20mins to nissi beach.
as i mentioned these are only 2 * apartments so dont expect to much you only get what you pay for.
