went 2nd week October last year weather was fabulous... don't know whether its luck or judgement but have never had a bad week in Greece in October apart from the odd day, sept should be fine

for the last 2 years we have gone to zante end july beginning aug and its HOT HOT HOT, there is a little place where the woman there has a thermometer outside and some days last year it hit 50 so i should imagine aug will be very much the same

2 weeks tomorrow and ill be there, cant wait
