You wont get much entertainment in Tunisia,but the best resort in my opinion is PEK.

Hi geovil, like you tunisia is going to be a new experience for us in October , as for entertainment i think that is mainly hotel based , but you will get good advice on HT when are you going ?

PEK is best for me......then again I have never stayed in Hammamet or Sousse.
In PEK you will find lots of little cafes, resturants and some bars and a couple of nightclubs (or clubnights as my tunisian friends keep calling them lol). There is also a kids funfair, musical dancing fountains and an Irish bar which is part of the Hotel Kanta. I think as long as you are not a real party animal type of person you should find enough to amuse you in PEK.

Sousse every time for me. It is near enough PEK so you can get there cheaply but you also have nighclubs in Sousse, as well as a port for boat trips, the Medina, cafes, good restaurants and trains/metro/buses/louages if you want to explore further. However, ignore references to the Casino, as it's been closed as such for many years and is now only used for shows, including the fantastic Changing Ladies (a superb drag show which has been going for many years) who also visit some of the hotels in Sousse and PEK. There are two other drag acts doing the rounds, The Dream Girls and The Golden Girls, both worth a visit but Changing Ladies are the original and best.
