been looking at a holiday online on the thomas cook site
the hotel comes up as a thomas cook holiday with child age up to 12 for £2059.20
then another identical holiday to the same hotel but displayed as a airtours holiday with a child age of 15 for £1948.50
my daughter will be 13 when travelling if i book the airtours could i end up paying more money in the long run as they could say its a mistake and class here as a adult.
hope i've made myself clear.
regards tracey
Don't worry - IF the system takes your booking then you'll be fine, just make sure it doesn't change the price half way through booking. But first make sure it is identical, not only same hotel and flights but same in flight service, same luggage rules, same standard of room etc.
And before you book with "Airtours" check "TC" again, their brand manager may have retaliated and dropped their price.
And check Direct Holidays.
We had the same thing this year, FC child age upto 13, Thomson were I think 12 and someone else was 11, all for the same hotel. Infact the Thomson and FC packages were identical apart from the price!! Don't know how they work it, but it certainly pays to shop around, even within the same company.
is it safe for me to book.
I would print off the page with the details and book it, these form the contract that you have booked and will have to be honoured.
You shouldn't have to pay any extra and will be entitled to the holiday as per the time of booking.
tried to book it and it wouldn't let me come up with error code. i am going to go into tc travel agents and see if they can do it for me.
Print out the web where it says child age 15, any problems then you have proof to show them.
booked it with airtours for £1948
