I have stayed in Arena Dorada apartments and would not worry if you ended up there. They are in a perfect location for the front. They are clean and the pool area is nice. Brilliant receptionist Lizzie who is very helpful. Most of the Guests are German which is not a problem, they tend to go to bed early.
For our next visit I have booked La Penita which sound quite nice.
We have also stayed in Club Oceano which somebody was asking about on another thread. They were o'k but we felt they were a bit of a trek up the hill.
