Its a very difficult one, I suppose it is because it is a franchise that everything is so variable.

We hired a car this summer via Cosmos, Villas brochure, to be honest I didnt even ask the name of the hire company, the price seemed OK so for easy living I just said yes book it.

It turned out to be with Sixt who I hadn't heard of :oops: but the service was excellent. This was at Malaga airport and we went downstairs there were loads of queues at other desks - seemed to be about 12 different companys. Two staff at the desk, fully computerised, admin took 5 mins and we went to the pick up point and we were given a virtually brand new Peugot 307, (still had that new car smell) so if I had to post my experience of Sixt I would say it was good.

I know this doesn't help the OP, but I just wanted to post to highlight that people can have such differing experiences with the same company.

Don't know if it helps that I booked via Cosmos rather than direct, maybe they dont want to annoy companys that put a lot of business their way ? But I wouldn't have thought so really.
