All together i have been to various Egyptian resorts 8 times. I always wear shorts and strappy tops. In Luxor and Cairo it is best if you have a shoal etc to cover your shoulders and depending where you are and what monument you are visiting. I must confess i do not remember covering any part of my body up when i have visited as it has always been over 130 degrees, but saying this, if it was expected of me for reglious purposes then i would adhere to their rules. In Sharm you wear what you want, i just wish these thong men would cover up, its like seeing Jonny Vegas in Benidorm

but to get back on topic suggest a shawl or take just one light blouse and long wrap if you need to cover up anywhere but in resort no-one seems to bother

a very friendly place their Anything Goes team competition is a definite eye opener - - that's why Airtours used to get on Watchdog so much beacause they used to send some folk their on allocation on arrival

Definitely a place you need to pick that you are going to but saying that

Great food
Good entertainment EVERY night
very entertaining bar staff -- woe betide any woman trying to wear a full swimsuit they have a lot of ice at the pool bar
