Thanks guys I had forgotten all about the train until I read the post in full (should have done that first). The last time we visited the Costa we stayed in Benalmadena and the bus was easier but Torremolinos has a more convenient train station. Looks like train after all.
Only 3 weeks today until we go and although looking forward to it I am a bit apprehensive going with a 2 year old but we should be fine.
Thanks again Steven
It's actually quicker to walk through the car park. As you get out the station (with your back facing the entrance) turn to your left. You will see a small bit of road in front of you. Turn to your left, the road goes round the corner past the clinica. Walk straight up (a very short steep hill) and you are in the car park. Turn left as if you are walking to the far end. You will then see Tivoli on the right.
Arriving in Belenmadena on 12th Oct for a week and my little lad wants to visit Tivoli World again, but can anyone please confirm:
1. Is it true that it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays in October?
2. I know that it is now 7 Eouro to get in but is it true that if you go to the Tivoli Market on Sunday morning, that you only have to pay 1 Euro to get in and then later on you can buy the 12 Euro superticket if you want to go on the rides?
3. Are there any discount tickets for Tivoli doing the rounds like the ones for Marine World, the zoo etc?
Many Thanks
Bill W
Yes i read if you go between 11 and 1 its 1 euro entry.
The last couple of times we have been to Benelmadena we have often seen strips of coloured cards with discounts for Marine world, Zoo and Cable car all over the place (especially lying on the ground), and if I remember correctly, when we first went to Marine World we were given some cards when we paid to get in.
Cheers
BillW
