August 2010 Holiday - Where?

This is my first post so go easy please!!!

Looking to go away on the 2nd of August next year all inclusive,The caribbean or mexico is my preferred choice.
Any recommendations gratefully recieved.
Also how much will i be looking at for 2 weeks,not getting much joy from the internet at the moment.

Hi Chukas. My recommendation would be one of the Riu hotels in the north of the Dom Rep. We haven't travelled much in the Caribbean but we stayed in Mexico a couple of years ago and we've been to the North and South of the Dom Rep with THIS being our favourite.

The beauty of the Riu chain is that you normally have the advantage of being able to use the facilities of another 2 neighbouring hotels. Good Luck with your search!
