Hi, we have booked a late deal to Gambia leaving in the next 2 weeks. Has anyone who has been recently got up to date information on what injections are needed before we go? I'm up to date on most injections after travelling to Thailand a few years ago but I'm getting different feedback on the Yellow Fever Inoculation - is it highly recommended to get this one?. Also are Malaria tablets needed?
Thanks in advance.

And yes Malaria tablets are needed for Gambia so consult your doctor or practise nurse.
Angie.

Also worth taking a look at this website from NHS Scotland for more info http://www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk/destinations/africa/gambia.aspx
