Place is heaving with Scandis but, as previous poster said, A lot less Brits and Germans about.

yes i thought it might be like that so went last minute to Tenerife instead
Why do so many scandinavians go there? I dont remember noticing them before in the canaries. The flight i booked from Dublin for 24th -31st(not even part of kids hols) is practically booked out; Maybe people tryin to escape doom and gloom of all this recession talk
this might seem a daft question....but what are the scandics like....never been canary ilses before...but booked to go playa taurito in july....are they like the germans....

The Scandies are fine, Nothing like the Germans. You probably won't find too many in July as they tend to go in Oct/Nov & Feb/Mar

talking about quiet....forums very qutet too...not just gran caneria .....the others as well....

We will be going to Gran Canaria too heading out on 6th July to the Maspalomas Princess Hotel and very much looking forward to my holidays. I am new to the forum and have been reading all the reviews etc. We were in Gran Canaria just over 3yrs ago so looking forward to visiting again.

hi little legs and lorraine....I posted the exact same question as you little legs on thomas cook airlines forum not too long back....Im flying out same as you lorraine on the 6th july with thomascook...but Im going playa taurito...my holiday with same flight went off the net ages ago ....and the other flight option dissapeared not long after...looks like my hotel is fully booked as no hols there now for my dates....so there must be more than us going out on the 6th....dazbo5 replied with the info about flights going out ....and there were plenty ...when you going out littlelegs
I think it will get a lot more lively from the beginning of July. There seems to be loads going out on the 6th (me too ) and that is the first week of the Scottish School Holidays, and the Edinburgh 'Fair Fortnight' so I reckon it won't be a problem.
Every other forum I've been on says that in July it's always busy no matter what. Anyway, I'll be there, so I couldn't care less if anyone else is, I'll be on my holli-bobs!!

hi, tweetie, going out on the 14th sept for two weeks, Maspalomas green golf. never been to this island before ive done all the rest and this is my last one to try out. all though all the islands are pretty close to each other ive found each has there own very individual stamp marked on them
Went in July this year and although it was quieter than a few years ago, nightlife was still fantastic and plenty of deals to be had
