It's now 2010 and I'm asking the same question, hoping someone may have an udate.

Are there any opening times to visit Fort St. Angelo? everywhere I go I draw a blank and with only 15 days to go before we fly to our Maltese 'delight' I'd still like to vist the old fort and I mean inside it and not a walk round the battlements. Any one any ideas ?? please ...

Hello David, I seem to remember seeing some ware on the net that Fort St Angelo has some of its walls in a bad way, so bad they are falling down and that no one can enter the site at all.

Yes I remember seening this time last year that they were working on the walls. It also seems like repair and resteration on the old bell tower is in hand.
