Is this possible at all ?
I am looking on behalf of a friend who originally wanted to fly to Reus...stay near Salou and travel into Barcelona for some culture. However the flights are few & far between to Reus unfortunately so I decided to look at Girona. But as there are 10 people travelling not all are culture vultures and therefore want to have the choice of a beach resort as a base.

Would be really grateful of any help you can offer.

The party consists of 8 adults & 2 teenagers a pretty sedate group and not looking for a "party" atmosphere just somewhere with places to eat & good transport links to Girona and possibly Barcelona. The trip is for 5 nights.

I guess the most important factor is getting the right resort, that's the priority. I can research some more but I'm being pointed in the direction of Blanes or Tossa ? I think a train into Barcelona would be preferable for speed purposes....how long approx is the journey ?

Will there be enough in these resorts to keep them busy for 5 nights and days ? Good beach ? and subtle nightlife.

.......I've been tasked wih getting this spot on as it's the first time abroad for many of them ! And they're all there to celebrate a 50th birthday
