Am looking at booking infinity for the Panama canal cruise in november. Can anyone give any info on this cruise and also best place to book it. Only cruised once before about ten years ago round the caribbean [airtours] ,this is a 50th birthday treat for my partner

I did the Panama Cruise on Princess Cruises on the Island Cruises. We started from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale and it was 16 nights as well as a night pre cruise in S/F'
I enjoyed it and we had lovely weather but it was not my favourite. If you are interested in Engineering and the wonder of this passage which is a very tight fit.
There are often some good deals as it is usually repositioning cruises. The Ships are in Alaska and then moving to the Caribbean for the winter.
The best idea is to get yourself on some emailing lists for several T/A. I have seen some adverts for Mercury also X but an older ship but Infinity is a great ship and ideal best of all they have great aft balcony rooms. The balcony is enormous but it might be too expensive for you.
