If you entered a competition then it is possible you could have won a prize. But you also say they are a promotional company so it is also possible that having entered it your details have been harvested for the purpose of selling you something.
The standard reply I and others here on HT give is you don't get anything for nothing. If there is any financial contribution to be made by you, or conditions such as attending a presentation then it is not a prize, just a way of getting you in for the hard sell.
