Aparently they will be stopping tourists from getting up close/touching/entering the pyramids as of next year as it is damaging them
my friend lives in Cairo and he was telling me that they are in the process of building a tram type train to take tourists around them but you won't be allowed up close
glad we went last year
even though i can understand them wanting to protect them from further damage
