I want to say a big thanks for all the advice given here, particularly the post from Sanjii, so helpful and informative.
We haven't made our decision yet but will let you know when we do, this time last year I would have gone straight for the Regente (was smoking then)but gave up about 4 months ago. Saying that I don't mind being around smokers.

I would also like to thank helenc for her comment about not going All Inclusive in Beni, and whilst I understand we all have opinions, it is our choice to go A/Inc, it does not stop us from going out and about, but enjoy the convenience of it while at the hotel. It is our choice and what suits us, that is it, so I don't want this topic to become a debate about All Inclusive or not.

Well said marjrie, it's your life and your money so you can do as you like with it. We too went All inclusive last year, it didn't stop us going out either but gave us the choice. It was easier to budget when everything in the hotel was pre paid for so perhaps we didn't go out as much as we have if we had been half board or self catering but if you find a comfortable hotel with semi decent entertainment on then you don't always want to anyway.. Each to their own that's what I say.

Would choose Levante, massive balcony all facing the sun great views and very clean hotel, food lovely, bit of a walk to beach but just across the road some great bars on the doorstep which after a busy day is ideal if you want a change from hotel

i like the levante but you really cant claim the food is good IMHO, far from it, pretty awful actually.
