hi i`m going to crete, self catering in june and was wondering how expensive or cheap eating out and drinks etc are at the moment. any help or advice please.

the Greek holiday season only started yesterday, so it will be a week or two till members start returning.
rule of thumb like any holiday resort the further you keep away from the resort area and by using local tavenas using local produce to serve the local population then the cheaper eating out will be, if you only eat British type food it can work out expensive [but look around first you may find some deals around]
as for self catering again look for one of the larger supermarkets away from the main tourist area and buy local branded products to save money, if you like your tea then take your own tea bags
