Who went to the Turbo Hotel and can tell me how it is !!
I'm planning to go there for Xmas in Dec. 2006
Thank you for all your comments.

hi,does anyone know whats best.. 2 adults and 12 and 14 yr old lads.. have seen an offer for Turbo Club AI but wonder if it`s cheaper to go SC..never been to gran canaria before so need some quick advice as the flight is next friday and want to know before i book
would have thought A/I would be best with children, myself I always go self catering, and always go Gran Canaria - Maspalomas, if there's anything you want to know just ask. Have a brill time whatever you do.
It all depends on what you're planning on doing while you're there and what the price diffrence would be. One thing to bear in mind that alot of people don't think of is that most AI places don't have a fridge n that is a big thing to think of in the canarian heat.
There is loads to do both day and night in GC so you need to weigh up whether it'll be worth your while, again looking at price difference. Hotel restaurants in GC can be very fish based although there should be some other options, also check out what kind of AI it is n if there is gonna be any additional costs for certain drinks during the day and ice cream etc as i've worked in hotels that did this and my customers weren't aware of it. Food and drinks can be very reasonable in restaurants but like anywhere it depends on where u go. Supermarkets are a bit more expensive for british branded stuff but there is plenty of choice in the spars and nettos. If you wanna know anything more specific just let me know
The Turbo Club seems to be quite good food wise, Click Here to read our reviews of this hotel. Someone has just come back from there.
we go to Puerto Rico (most times) in GC and always self catering. we find the food very reasonably priced and plenty off restaurant choice.
Thinking about booking a weeks all inclusive at the Turbo Club. Can anyone tell me whether the accommodation is in apartments (ground & first floor) or duplex style bungalows? Ideally I am looking for somewhere all on one level (no internal stairs) as my son has restricted mobility. We are a family of 4 (children aged 4 & 12), so I assume the lounge area has 2 sofa beds? Any info would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.
Bex

Regards ..... mike
