I know loads of you will know this but we've only been to Europe/Turkey before and we know only the import rules for there.

The USA has strict rules about importing 'produce'. They employ sniffer dogs trained to find fruit and vegetables! We took tea over as presents at Easter without a problem.

At least now we can oblige her as it must be awful not to be able get your favourite essential things.

Thinking about it, coffee granules are probably allowed as they are already roasted as opposed to being in their natural state.
I always take teabags with me and have never thought whether they are allowed or not.
