We're a family of 5 and stay in apartments in either Cala Bona or Cala Millor in Majorca. I prefer staying in apartment on s/c basis as unlike hotels you're not having to work around set mealtimes so you can eat when you want and find different places to eat.

Wherever you end up I'm sure your kids will love it so don't go worrying too much. If you've got specific resorts in mind then check on resort reviews before you make up your mind.
