Ferries regularly travel from Ciutadella to Alcudia on Mallorca. I believe the company is called Trasmediterania. I can't give you a timetable but should imagine they have a website.

No, I've never done the trip, it's not actually a pleasure trip, it's a car ferry, but I reckon it would take a good few hours.
Did you look for the Trasmediterania web site? Note the spelling.

I have found a website that shows a ferry leaves Ciutadella for Alcudia 13 times a week. This site wont allow me to post the link i'm afraid. The journey only takes 2hours and 45 minutes and the company is Iscomar.

The web site is direct ferries. (hope they let me post that)

Balearia use their fast ferry Ramon Llull on the Ciutadella - Alcudia and the conventional ferry Martin I Soller, Trasmediterranea operate a conventional ro/ro ferry service between Mahon and Palma. Iscomar use the small ex UK ferru Nura Nova on the Ciutadella - Alcudia route.
The Ramon Llull does a couple of sailings per day, we used this service last year and I can highly recommend it, we will go again in June.
Iscomar only do one Alcudia - Ciutadella per day.
There is also a fast craft that operates between Cala Rajada and Ciutadella.

The Ramon llul ( operated by Balleria ) fast beauty of a boat Ciutadella to Alcudia is a good choice. Note all trips to palma have to travel much further so you are forced into an overnight stay. Alcudia is also still an hours motorway trip away from Palma.
