Hi All
Could someone tell me how the Law stands in Turkey regarding Hand-Held Walkie-Talkie type radios? We bought a set to use in Menorca for our last holiday so we could keep in touch with the kids when they were out and about so they wouldn't get lost anywhere. It's also cheaper than using Mobile Phones. We would like to take them and use them in Turkey when we go in about 2 weeks but we don't want to break any laws there.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks
Dobbie
There are no restictions on the use of hand held radios as far as I'm aware, as long as they are limited to the frequencies used by domestic systems.
Darren
they are great and as u say save a fortune in mobile calls.
bought ours from Argos about £15 and can't believe how well they work.
took them to Disneyland Paris earlier in the year and worked wonderfully (quite a few others were using them too).
You've been very helpful
