Booking excursions in Marmaris

Hi everyone

Flying out to Marmaris this Thursday, and staying at Club Candan for 11 nights, second time round, last time was when it opened a couple of years back, so can't wait to get out there!

There's 4 adults and 2 kids (aged 3 and 1) this time round, so we'll want to do some excursions. I just don't want to pay Thomson rates! Any suggestions of agents nearby that I can book excursions that are knowledgeable and won't rip me off?

I definitely want to go for a Turkish bath - but the 'genuine' place that the locals use that's based in Armutalan, will also want to go to the Aqua Park, maybe see some ruins that everyone seems to go on about, a boat ride down the bay, just the usual stuff. Have I missed anything obvious out? Is the catamaran to Rhodes too long for a day out?

I know it will probably be cheaper to book direct for a lot of these things, just not sure how to do it

Book all your trips at the same time at one of the many many shops who only sell these trips their are hundreds of them in Marmaris, The more you book at the same time the cheaper it will be for you.

Just back from Marmaris yesterday. Try using Donatella travel not far from Candan, just over the road from the George And Dragon restaurant. Got their own boat, Mega Diana, about £14 all inclusive, bottled beer too , its an excellent day out. As RWB46 mentioned if you book a few haggle over the prices and youll be amazed how cheap you can get things. Our 5 year old was always free and half price for the 8 year old when he wasnt free. We went up to Dalyan and the Kings Tombs well worth the time it takes to get there. Try a jeep safari too you wont be disappointed !!

Whats the best place to go for a Jeep Safari, in terms of the quality of them?

Hi thanks for the tips, would love to go on the longer trips but we're limited travelling with a 1 year old, but we may take the risk depending on how well he gets used to the heat! Any other agencies recommended?

Hi all,

I'm off to Marmaris next Wednesday, I book my trips with Isaac, you can find him just across from the point centre, he also does flights if you stand at the door of the point centre he is just across the street, I get a good exchange rate off him too! Have a brill time all, and take care.
